Management Team

Verax was founded by partners Donald R. Kelley, CFA, Steven C. Hardek, and Eric S. Koza, CFA. As a result of working together as partners in an alternative investment fund, the founders have developed a common investment philosophy and active management style.

The founders’ professional experiences include being partners in an alternative investment fund, partners in a global securities fund, directors for public and private company boards, founders of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, chief investment officer of a private investment fund, investment banking experience, operating roles and restructuring and turnaround experiences.

Capitalizing on the diverse experiences of the founders provides Verax with a unique perspective when analyzing, structuring, and closing transactions. As a result of their experiences, Verax has the ability to gain control through both traditional and non-traditional methods.
